pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room

These are old! Ish. They’re from March and I meant to post them and never did.

I had a really miserable frustrating time in this life drawing class and wasn’t pleased with much I did, so I was really surprised that my work this one day turned out so well. Plus I really love the look of the black+white pens on butcher paper.

God, if I could reliably post something new just once a week I’d feel so much better, but I’m not even doing that right now.

Also, dammit, if there’s one thing I want to accomplish by Labor Day it’s not feeling completely terrible at drawing heads and maybe even facial expressions? It would be nice not to draw a body rly well and then feel I’ve utterly ruined it by adding the head, see for example that second drawing which you are not seeing the head of ever.
